Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer well-known for his unique mix of soul gospel jazz R&B as well as R&B. Avery Sunshine's performances have been on Broadway and in festivals throughout Europe. She has also performed at performing at Democratic National Convention. The real name of Sunshine is Denise White. Although she is based in Atlanta, her roots are in Chester Pennsylvania. There she started to pursue a musical career performing and singing in a church. Her music career started in Atlanta in Spellman College. The year 2005 saw Tyler Perry hired her as his primary keyboardist for his stage play Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice and her music, invited Sunshine to sing in the Dreamgirls show during the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was recognized nationally for her daily shows in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was invited to perform at President Barack Obama's inaugural in 2009.
