Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a artist who was born in Newark New Jersey on the 9th of August 1963. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney which included the hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the most successful artists of all time. While the movie itself and the performance of her on screen were not widely reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her cover to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You topped charts for albums and singles for months and sold 44 million copies all over the world.
