Lindsey Shaw a singer, actor and producer from the US was born on May 10, 1989 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Barber changed her weight class to Flyweight in preparation for UFC Fight Night Thompson Vs. Pettis, where she was up against JJ Alldrich. Barber kept her UFC dominance by TKOing Aldrich during the second round. She then followed it up with a TKO of Gillian Robertson when UFC On ESPN: Reyes Vs. Weidman was held. Roxanne Modeafferi's UFC 246 fight halted Barber's UFC 3 winning streak. Roxanne beat easily Barber with a majority vote. Maycee's losing streak continued as she was defeated by Alexa the Grasso by the unanimous verdict in UFC 258. Barber was able to defeat Miranda Maverick in UFC on ESPN Sandhagen Versus. Dillashaw by split decision. Barber defeated Montana De La Rosa by an unanimous decision in UFC Fight Night 205 held on April 23, 2022. Barber was later promoted to replace Casey O'Neill and fight Jessica Eye at UFC 276 in July 2022. The victory was a unanimous one. Additionally, it was the last fight under her contract with UFC. But later that same year she signed a new contract with them. Barber beat Andrea Lee via a unanimous decision on March 25 2023 in UFC Fight Night Vera Vs. Sandhagen.
